reikmė statusas T sritis švietimas apibrėžtis Vidinis arba išorinis dirgiklis, sukeliantis trūkumo ar pertekliaus pojūtį. Reikmė – tai signalas poreikiui kilti. Pvz., reikmė pajuntama, kai mokiniai pasijaučia nuvargę, kai klasės ore trūksta deguonies ir pasidaro tvanku arba kai šviečia kaitri saulė (perteklius), nuo jos nudega oda (juntamas skausmas), kai trūksta knygų, žinių ir pan. Reikmė nevaldo elgesio. Jį valdo tik toks poreikis, kuris apima patirtį, žinojimą, kur ir kaip patenkinti reikmę, atkurti prarastą organizmo ar dvasinę pusiausvyrą.
